Got more dirt today so that I could start my vegetable garden! I planted peas, cucumbers and carrots! If I get even one vegetable I will be happy. I’ve never grown vegetables before and I don’t really know anything about doing it, so wish me luck! I also took a picture of some of the flowers I planted yesterday, I think they are really pretty!

Busy day today! Laid down some grass seed and Matt built me a raised garden bed! I’m going to try growing some vegetables. I made these signs for when I plant them. I used a soda can and some leftover wire I had to make them. I got the idea from someone’s blog, I liked that I was able to recycle some items!

This month is Teacher Appreciation at work. Today they had flowers that the parents could purchase for the teachers, and at the end of the day they were all delivered to us in our classrooms. I received a lovely bunch of flowers! What a great way to end the day. It always makes me feel good to know I’m appreciated for the work that I do. I love our families! 🙂

Tried a new nail painting technique I saw on pinterest called water marbling. It turned out pretty cool, it’s a bit messy and I have to take some nail polish remover to my nails but it’s still neat! Basically you tape around your nails, put drips of nail polish into a cup of water and then using something pointy to create a design. Then you dip your nail and use the something pointy to pull the nail polish layer off of the water. It’s probably really confusing but if your interested look it up on you tube.
